Girls’ Cross Country: Ivy League Champions

On Friday afternoon at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx, the Hackley Girls’ Cross Country team won its third consecutive Ivy League Championship. Claire Gomba finished first, followed by Julia Stevenson (2), Ally Mueller (6), Greer Levin (8), Lindsay Schechter (9), and Laura Seebacher (11). The team had the lowest point total in recent history, along with the lowest average time ever for Hackley (16:56 on a 4K course). In the JV race, Hackley also swept the team title with Camille Butterfield taking first, followed by Lana Tager (2), Michaela Riegler (3), Callye Bolster (10), Margaret DeLaMater (12), Emily Dieffenbach (17), and Nur Momani (22).
