Q: What made you come to Hackley?
A: I really enjoyed working with the students and faculty when I visited, and I was lucky enough to be hired.
Q: What’s been your favorite moment at Hackley so far?
A: When I’m in class, working with my students. I think that’s why any teacher does what they do.
Q: What’s been your favorite part about teaching Hackley students in particular?
A: I think the students that I’ve been able to teach so far have been genuinely curious, engaged, and they want to participate and talk in class. That’s just a great thing to have in the classroom: students who want to learn.
Q: What made you want to become a teacher?
A: I think I really got into teaching because I liked working with students one-on-one, and the rush you get from teaching and seeing a student grow.
