Wrestling Places Second in Ivy League Championships

February 6, 2014

On January 1, a day after Winter Sting, the wrestling team competed in the Ivy League Championships at home. George Germanakos (120), Greg Chung (126), Elijah Ngbokoli (160), and Xavier Carmona (195) all won their weight classes, while Xavier Carmona was voted Most Valuable Wrestler. Overall the team finished in second place. Second place wrestlers included Gabe Welch (99), Jordan Schwartz (106), Rodrigo Mejias (170), Milo Lempert (182), and Brandon DiFalco (285). Third place wrestlers included Jack Clark (99), Stephen Zak (132), Michael Tarantino (138), Dan Shaw (152), and Andrew Muo (285).
