The Girls’ Soccer, Boys’ Soccer and Field Hockey semifinals of the NYSAIS Championship were held Friday afternoon at Hackley, and the Hornets faced tough competition to advance to the championship round. Girls’ Soccer defeated Rye Country Day 3-1 to advance to the championship game against Dalton Sunday 5:30 p.m. at Manhattanville College. Field Hockey defeat Nichols 5-0 to advance to the championship game against Rye Country Day Sunday 12:00 p.m. at Manhattanville College. After an intense 1-1 match in second overtime, Boys’ Soccer lost 4-2 in penalty kicks to UNIS.
