As another sports season comes to an end, Hackley athletes have once again displayed their astounding athletic abilities. Four teams competed today at Randall’s Island for a state title; four teams returned with championship trophies.

Both Boys’ and Girls’ Lacrosse gained state and Ivy League first place titles. After being down by a two goal deficit, the boys persevered and ultimately won 12 to 9 against Rye Country Day School. Although the Girls’ team never lost their lead, they still played a competitive game and won 10-5 against league rival Trinity.

The Track and Field team exerted true heart despite the day’s hot temperature, dominating their events. The Boys’ and Girls’ teams won their 8th consecutive and 4th consecutive state title respectively.

The spring season has been another successful one for the Hornets. Congratulations to all the teams!
