Gabrielle Paes is a sophomore at Hackley and is a staff writer. This is her first year writing on the dial. She is from Harrison, NY and enjoys baking, softball and spending time with friends. A fun fact about Gabrielle is that she is a camp counselor.

All 12 students and their teacher gathered on the Quad. They are all in their uniforms with a banner representing their school; Paradis International College. They are standing under the sign "Enter here to be and find a Friend", representing the joining of the two schools.

Freshmen designed boats and ores with materials including cardboard and duct tape. “It was so fun being able to bond with my advisory,” said freshman Katie Yalmokas, “The whole boat building was so fun, and being in the boat was a funny yet fun experience.”
