On Monday, September 16, the girls’ varsity soccer team took on Fieldston at home, and did not disappoint. The game was close until the 54th minute, when Jenny Horing received a through ball from Laurel Cassidy and Joanna Miller, took on two defenders, and beat the Fieldston keeper. Hackley padded their lead when Miller received a pass from Sarah Walker, beat a defender, and put it past the Fieldston keeper for a 2-0 lead. Sammy Mueller played in goal and recorded 19 saves.
