On Fall Sting, Hackley School played Eldred High School from Eldred, NY. Hackley scored its first touchdown on a run by Elijah Ngbokoli, who would later add another touchdown. Hackley kept its 7-0 lead until Dylan Garvey caught a pass from Ryan Walker and took it 30 yards to make the score 14-0. After Elijah Ngbokoli’s second touchdown, Hackley put in its second string players. Eldred then scored a touchdown making it 21-7, and then scored again tightening the game. But Hackley had an answer. Jack Waterhouse scored Hackley’s fourth touchdown, but Eldred responded by scoring again, forcing Hackley’s coach, Phil Treglia, to put the starters back in the game. Hackley held off Eldred through the fourth quarter to win 28-21.
