The Dial asks Climate Strike goers: Why are you here?

Chants of “there is no planet B” echoed through lower Manhattan this past Friday, as thousands gathered for the Climate Strike. Amongst the sea of signs, I selected my favorites, and asked those rally-goers, “Why are you here?”

Within the past few months many colleges have made the switch back to requiring test scores. Although the reasons varied, the overarching theme was a push for making sure that students from underrepresented communities do not have a disadvantage in the admission process. Standardized testing allows for every student to be on the same playing field.

Colleges Reinstate Test Policies Due to New Data
