Giulia Sorvillo, Chief Design Editor

Giulia Sorvillo is a senior at Hackley and is one of the Chief Design Editors. She has been contributing to the Dial for several years holding positions as Staff Writer and Design Editor previously. Giulia is from Elmsford, NY and outside of the classroom she enjoys listening to music, spending time with her family, and managing Hackley girls varsity basketball.

Junior Olivia Houck among other students spent their time walking through the installation and taking in all the information. Different grade levels walked through the installation at different times. They began by grabbing a flameless candle and a packet of guiding questions before entering the installation.

The rounds tables and couches on one side of the library are occupied by middle schoolers during different times of the day. They are often found reading, doing homework, and chatting with friends. Unfortunately, they can create some noise in the library, distracting the upper schoolers.

With their cameras, students were ready to head to a new location in the park. They stopped along a small body of water to capture the reflections of the trees on the water. This was towards the end of the trip and many students were taking a minute to soak in their surroundings.

Sophomores Maggie Yalmokas, Giulia Sorvillo, and Alessia Sorvillo watched Zach Bryan perform at the music festival Sound on Sound. Many fans were disappointed with his short setlist. Bryan also started late because he was experiencing many technical issues, making fans even more disappointed, as some of them had traveled far just to watch him perform.
