Hannah Carey, a Sophomore Staff Writer, joined the Dial this year to work on writing timely and relevant articles. Outside of Dial, Hannah is on the Field Hockey and Swim Team. On Dial, she hopes to write articles that are important to the Hackley Community.

At the first league game played without senior captain, Colin Ives, the Hackley Varsity Field Hockey team won 7-1 against Horace Mann. We wore caution tape in our hair for every game following the ruling. This was a commentary on the leagues position of Colin as a hazardous player.

In a research study conducted at UC Riverside, researchers found that on average, supporters of Biden had a higher average anxiety scale than Trump Supporters on an anxiety scale. This anxiety scale specifically measured worries about the outcome of the 2020 election.
